      • Waiting for OpenMQ to get integrated into Glassfish and run the TCK.

[SM] GlassFish 6.0.0-RC1 passes TCK and now RC1 is available on downloads and on Staging

  • WooHoo! Congratulations! +100000!
  • Corresponding TCK (date stamped) is in the “history” folder.
  • TCK locks down after this week (Oct 23).
  • Change this week to enable Corba using EJB tests by default.
  • Likely remove or leave RMI-IIOP tests disabled by default.
  • Marlow to verify (by tomorrow) that RMI-IIOP tests + Corba Tests were included in this week’s TCK run.
    • Testing of the RMI-IIOP + Corba tests that were skipped have passed with
    • We plan to update the Platform TCK to run the skipped (Corba) EJB30 tests by default and remove the RMI-IIOP tests.
  • Address EJB tests that have Corba references when we address JDK11
  • Glassfish could do additional RCs, if necessary.

Jakarta EE 9.1 (recurring agenda item)

  • Java SE 11 execution and test environment
  • Kevin and Steve will continue to drive the Spec and Impl releases, respectively

Jakarta EE 10 (recurring agenda item)

  • Reza’s community document for Jakarta EE 10. He’s looking for input and verification. As* a reminder, individual component Specifications can be on their own schedule (not directly tied to the Platform release schedule).
  • Architecture Guidelines Document
    • Needs review and input
    • “Make jar, not war”
    • Standard “dev mode” invocation ???
  • Need a Jakarta EE 10 Release Plan (and owner) *Ivar will create a Google Doc for the Jakarta EE 10 release plan
